The monitors are tested by Euroclass and were exposed to open fire for 30 minutes to be classified to the DIN EN standard. An optional fire extinguisher can be fitted. A small capsule within the monitor chassis releases fire extinguishing fluid when the exterior reaches a pre-determined temperature to extinguish any fire that has reached the interior. There is also an option to have higher IP protection classes.
According to the distributor, the company is the first supplier to offer an independent fire load and flue gas optimised monitor according to the highest fire protection class DIN EN 13501-1 (A1-s1 d0).
The monitors are suitable for public areas where information and guidance are required such as an information kiosk, city guidance for visitors and fire drills for building evacuations. The series can be supplied as a monitor or as a standalone system with an integrated PC.
The displays will be exhibited at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam (11-14 February 2020) at the RAI, Hall 10, stand R130.
